Tito Ortiz Arrested For DUI
It turns out that, for MMA fighter Tito Ortiz, not all battles are done inside of the ring. The recently embattled fighter was taken into jail on Monday for allegedly driving under the influence. He quickly posted bail. Los Angeles police picked up the MMA fighter after he was involved in a single car collision that occurred at 4:30 A.M. The police have gone on record as stating that, ““Ortiz was driving northbound on the I-405 when he lost control of his vehicle and struck the concrete center median.” His bail ended up being $15,000 and was posted within hours of arrival.
Tito Ortiz was not the only person in the car but, fortunately, nobody was injured. The vehicle that he crashed was a sporty 2012 Porsche Panamera. The vehicle was considered “fairly damaged”.
After the police arrived to the scene, the fighter was moved to the 77th LAPD division for chemical testing and medical clearance. After that, he was quickly thrown into jail and without any sort of problem.
Tito Ortiz is a popular MMA fighter, a former Light Heavyweight UFC champion in fact. He does not have a history of criminal charges.
