UFO hoax video Revealed As Elaborate Hoax

UFO hoax video was a hoax…shocker

A fake UFO video shown on YouTube is currently in the news. Viewers quickly caught on to the fact that the video was a fake. In fact, everything in the clip was computer-generated.

The video, titled “UFO over Santa Clarita” was a joke played by Aristomenis Tsirbas, the director of the 2007 film: “Battle for Terra.” Tsirbas and his team spent a few months spent a few months developing this video. Tsirbas said that he developed the video to show that CGI can be very realistic.

“The point of the video was to prove that CGI can look natural and convincing,” Tsirbas told Wired. ”Everybody assumes the background and car are real, and that the UFOs are probably fake, especially the over-the-top mothership at the end. The general reaction is disbelief, so I usually have to prove it by showing a wireframe of the entire shot to prove that nothing is real.”

To help finish the video, Tsirbas worked with students from the Gnomon School of Visual Effects, where Tsirbas has taught classes in the past.

They helped Tsirbas develop realistic lighting for the video. Tsirbas also animated the camera to make sure that the shot had plenty of shakinhg, adding to the realism. For the spaceships, Tsirbas photosgraphed a dead chicken and photoshoped the images with different shapes.

Once the YouTube community figured out the hoak, the commedians came out.

Great Cgi work wow..? but ya its obviously fake when a UFO video is 720p we all know ufos videos are 240p ><

Another user pointed out:

Pretty cool CGI. But you know, whenever I see footage? that begins with the guy shooting while driving down the road, I’m automatically suspicious. Who besides tornado chasers and police officers actually do that?
