vampire couple drinks each others blood “Suddenly I felt the energy rushing through me”
Haverhill, England – this small city of 27,000 residents has an actual vampire couple in the form of 20 year old Lia Beninghoff and Aro Draven, reports the UK Sun.
The couple got their start in a cyber-relationship when they met online. What attracted the 20-year-old Lia to much older father of five was his declaration of being a vampire – that and the fact that both are Goths. Lia was fascinated by Aro’s claim of being a blood drinking person.
The two met in person and thus began an intense three week romance culminating in marriage.
Lia said: “From the moment we met, I knew Aro was the one.
“When he told me he was a vampire, it was exciting. I didn’t realise vampires actually existed, but I’d always hoped they did.”
Beninghoff is now a vampire having entered that status via a blood drinking ritual.
She said: “When he explained that blood sharing would bring us closer together, I asked him to turn me.
“Aro cut himself with a razor on the back of his arm and then he offered me his blood. Then I cut myself and he drank from me too.
“Suddenly I felt the energy rushing through me. It took a day for the transformation to be complete, and afterwards I felt revitalised. It was a magical experience – much more intimate than sex.”
Now, neither of them prey on innocents. Actually, they only drink each other’s blood. Beninghoff describes her initial consumption of her mate’s blood as being highly erotic and more intimate than intercourse.
She now consumes his blood four times a week and claims to feel debilitated if she does not get a regular dose of his blood. Draven says he is from the same part of Romania as the infamous Vlad the Impaler.
Her family has embraced Draven, though her father had reservations at first. Both have had lab tests run to ensure they are free of communicable diseases.
