Vanessa Hudgens turns 25, Uses Special Day For Relief In The Philippines
Disney darling Vanessa Hudgens has turned 25. The star of the “High School Musical” movies celebrated, surrounded by her friends and family, at a party this past week-end in Hollywood.
Hudgens was escorted to the bash, held at No Vacancy, by her boyfriend, actor Austin Butler, who stars in The Carrie Diaries.
Gal pal and Breakers costar Ashley Tisdale sent her own birthday wishes to Vanessa via Instagram.
She captioned the clip, “Happy birthday to this one. Can’t believe I’ve known her since she was 15 and she is now 25. Such a beautiful spirit. She’s my best friend/ sister for life. Happy birthday Vanessa”
Good friend and Spring Breakers costar Ashley Tisdale sent her own birthday wishes to Vanessa via Instagram. She captioned the clip, “Happy birthday to this one. Entertainment was the highlight of the night and included a tightrope walker. A number of decorated Christmas trees and all-you-could-eat cotton candy were also some of the hits of the birthday party.
Guests included her sister, Stella, who is also an actress, and one of her good friends, Ashley Tisdale, who co-starred in the Disney hit musicals about a group of talented high school students.
In honor of her 25th birthday, Hudgens also received a generous gift from the Hollywood Foreign Press Association of $100,000 donation on behalf of UNICEF.

The donation will fund recovery programs for victims of Typhoon Haiyan.
“It means so, so much to me. I mean it really is an honor,” she gushed. “I want to try to help as much as I can because it so close to home for me being Filipino. My mom’s from the Philippines. I am so grateful.”
Hudgens’ mother is Filipina and the money will go towards relief and aid for the victims of Typhoon Haiyan.
Hudgens starred in the original “High School Musical” when she was 15. She was the character Gabriella. Since then she has starred in several things, including the film “Spring Breakers” with Selena Gomez and James Franco.
