Singer Cher attacks Miley Cyrus, again
Cher once again slammed Miley Cyrus’ infamous performance at the MTV Video Music Awards, even after having tweeted that she regretted her original comments.
During an interview on the CBS show “Sunday Morning,” Cher claimed the Cyrus’ performance upset her, and she stated, “I just don’t like to see things done badly.” She continued her disparaging remarks by saying, “I just thought all of it was terrible. Outfit, terrible. Dancing, terrible. Singing, average. Performance, terrible. If she’d just come out there and kicked a–, even though I don’t think that I would have loved it, I would have respected it, and I would have appreciated it. That whole area that she was in was not something that I would gravitate to myself.”
Cher’s disapproval of Miley Cyrus’ performance was not previously unknown. Last week USA Today published Cher’s original condemnation of the performance:
“She can’t dance, her body looked like hell, the song wasn’t great, one cheek was hanging out. And, chick, don’t stick out your tongue if it’s coated.” But she apparently regretted her candor, and took to Twitter the next day to say that she was ashamed of herself for not supporting a fellow artist. “This is not an apology 4 what I thought,” she added. “It’s a reminder, that if I don’t practice my principles, I loose them.”
It was a surprise that Cher would issue further remarks on CBS’ Sunday morning after taking the time to tweet that she felt ashamed about the first statement in USA Today.

Not everyone is hating on Cyrus. Last week, Britney Spears told Mario Lopez she remembers being that age.
“I remember that age when I was just transferring into my career and, like, doing more controversial things and the energy that you feel and all this chaos that goes on,” the Oops I Did It Again singer told the host.
She then went on to discuss her friend Miley, 20.
“She is on fire right now, she is on fire, she’s just a ball full of energy,’ the singer said.
