Newlywed dies hours after wedding

It was supposed to be their special day but hours after their wedding Kali Dobson, 25 years old, was dead from a car crash and her new husband, Ryan Quinton, will possibly be charged. The crash occurred near Ball Ground, where the newlyweds had held their reception, when Quintons Pontiac Firepird had spun out of control before going off the road. Dobson, the bride, was not wearing her seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle. The automobile landed on her and she had passed away before emergency workers could be summoned to the scene. Quinton was able to stagger out of the vehicle, bloodied and ragged, to flag down some help.

Ryan Quinton was able to flag down a person driving by. The man, Chris Thomas, called police and tried to comfort Quinton while they waited. He said that there was “Nothing that could be done” for Kali, who could not even be seen beneath the vehicle. Quinton was under great duress and bleeding severely while they waited for police to arrive

“His shirt was all torn up and he was bleeding. He had blood all over his face and blood coming out of his hands and stuff and just looked bad. And it scared me to death,” said passing motorist Chris Thomas.

“I said, ‘Come here, buddy.’ I didn’t even know his name, and I held him and I said, ‘Let’s pray,’ and we prayed.

Quinton was still recovering in the hospital at the time of this writing. Franka Young, a spokeswoman of the Georgias Public Safety, sad that “chargers are pending”.
