Dan Brown Hangs Upside Down For Inspiration
At age 48, author Dan Brown has achieved more success as an author than most writers will ever achieve.
That may prompt some to wonder what the secret to his success is. Well, one notable thing the New Hampshire native does is to suspend himself upside down to promote his creative writing.
Specifically, Brown uses gravity to break through the periodic struggles that he and other writers have known as “writer’s block” reports the Daily Mail.
The practice isn’t as odd as it appears at face value. Technically speaking, what Brown engages in is called inversion therapy and it has long been known to enhance memory and promote concentration by forcing more blood to the brain – if the person practices it regularly. Brown has a fourth book set for release about the character Robert Langdon which is the seventh best-selling book series in history.
The Langdon character is the one which the book “The Da Vinci Code” was centered on.
The latest book is called “Inferno”. The book is titled after one of Dante’s most famous paintings.
UK Book sellers are said to be engaged in a fierce price war over the chance to sell advance copies of the book.
