The lovely and talented Eva Longoria is proving once more that money can’t you love. The 38-year-old two-time divorcee has broken up with her boyfriend Ernesto Arguello after only four months of dating.

It is believed that the split between the two was amicable and had more to do with the difficulties of carrying on a long-distance relationship than it did with anything else. Longoria maintains her lucrative career in Los Angeles and Arguello’s life is centered in Miami, Florida. However, the ubiquitous eyes and ears of the TMZ are saying that the breakup isn’t formal, but rather the relationship has been put on the back burner so to speak.

The romance between the two was hot and heavy for a while there. Arguello was born from Cuban and Nicaraguan refugees and Longoria had even traveled to the Central American republic of Nicaragua with her boyfriend. The couple met on the set of the now defunct dating game clone called “Ready for Love”.

Marriage rumors abounded that the civil engineer and philanthropist had captured the heart of one of Hollywood’s most stunningly attractive women. However, just as hot as the romance started, it seems to have burned out. No word yet on whether the two are keeping contact at this time. Perhaps some distance will make their hearts grow fonder.
