Grammy Attendees Issued Wardrobe Advisory

In an attempt to prevent attendees at the upcoming Grammy Awards show from wearing outfits considered inappropriate, television network CBS has taken the proactive step of issuing a wardrobe advisory.

The special missive indicates that any talent appearing in front of the cameras for the presentation special to air Sunday, February 10, should be aware that all breast and buttock skin must be adequately covered and any costumes featuring thongs will be considered a problem.

The wardrobe advisory also mentioned that any on-camera talent should not wear see-through or sheer material as part of their outfit and that attendees should avoid exposing the fleshy areas under their rear ends as well as under the curves of their breasts.

Per Deadline, the rules heavily limit skin. “Please be sure that buttocks and female breasts are adequately covered. Thong type costumes are problematic,” the memo states. Please avoid exposing bare flesh under curves of the buttocks and buttock crack. Bare sides or under curvature of the breasts is also problematic.”

The advisory also says that Network policy insists that all genital areas of the body be appropriately covered. In addition, the Network says it will not allow anyone to show written obscenities on any part of their wardrobe:

“Please avoid commercial identification of actual brand name products on T-shirts. Foreign language on wardrobe will need to be cleared. OBSCENITY OR PARTIALLY SEEN OBSCENITY ON WARDROBE IS UNACCEPTABLE FOR BROADCAST. ”

Recently, she told Harper’s Bazaar a funny story about her housekeeper bringing the dress out into the open and putting it on display in her home. The actress wasn’t exactly thrilled by the idea despite her current boyfriend, Casper Smart, giving his approval. As he aptly refers to it as “the most famous dress you’ve ever worn.”

The entertainer tells the mag:

“I have that at home. The other day, my housekeeper put it on a mannequin in my spa, where I get my hair and makeup done. She sent me a pictures. She was like, ‘You like this dress?’ Um, yeah, but I don’t know if I like it out in the house!”
