Jennifer Lopex reveals Son’s Injury

While attending the opening of the Kakkasan nightclub in Las Vegas, Nevada singer and actress Jennifer Lopez revealed her five year old son had been injured and had been for medical treatment.

The former American Idol judge explained Max, nicknamed The Boss had required stitches on his chin after an unexplained accident had left Lopez freaking out over her son’s injury. 43 year old Lopez stated while she had been panicked by the incident Max reacted more calmly and even said the stitches tickled his chin.

“Max got stitches on his chin,” the singer told Us Weekly at the opening of Hakkasan Nightclub in Las Vegas on Saturday, Apr. 27. “You know, I hear all little boys have a little scar on their chin. Of course I was freaking out, but he was fine. He said it tickled.”

Lopez was in Las Vegas for the Hakkasan opening on April 27th with boyfriend Casper Smart, 25 as Max and twin sister Emme spent the weekend with father Marc Anthony. Lopez says the coming months will be filled with promotional work for her new single Live It Up, another collaboration with Latin superstar Pitbull; Lopez plans to spend the next two to three months promoting the single alongside other projects.

Rumors are also circulating about a possible return to the ailing American Idol series in a bid to boost ratings. although it has been denied by producer Nigel Lythgoe rumors state Lopez could be about to return to the Idol stage as a replacement for judge Mariah Carey.
