Jessica Simpson actually got engaged to Eric Johnson, a retired NFL football player in November of 2010, however pregnancy got in her way twice. Only five months after giving birth to her daughter Maxwell she got pregnant again with her son Ace and decided to wait on a wedding.
However, about six months after Ace was born Simpson is ready to confirm that she is finally ready to plan a large wedding and tie the knot. This will be the second wedding for both Simpson and Johnson as Simpson previously was married to Nick Lachey and Johnson was married to his stylist.
As a spokesperson for Weight Watchers Simpson explained that she has been very motivated to keep up with her diet and exercise and will be proud to slip into her dress and show off just how much baby weight she has lost. She stated that she has been working hard to get back to the shape that she used to be.
No information about the wedding has been officially released, but there are reports that she will wed Eric Johnson in Capri, Italy on May 14th which is the spot that she choose to spend her birthday back in 2010.
