Kate Hudson’s Pregancy Was a SHOCK

In the May Issue of Elle UK, cover girl, actress Kate Hudson revealed that her pregnancy with Muse front man Matt Bellamy. Two months after dating the couple was expecting their first child.

When commenting on her relationship, Hudson said It was all very old-fashioned and proper and we went on lovely dates, but two months later I was pregnant” .

“Well, yes I was shocked, but I also thought: ‘This is going to be interesting,'” Hudson admitted of the unplanned pregnancy and its strain on the new romance. “I knew it would take a strong man to deal with it. You know that with a relationship things can go either way when you have a child.”

Although it was a shock and added strain to the relationship they were happy to have a child on the way. In April of 2011 her engagement to Bellamy was announced and their son Bingham was delivered a few months later in July.

The engaged couple have yet to tie the knot but have said that they are going strong. No plans are in the works but Hudson says “We will get married.”

“When you get pregnant everything changes; you, your body. Everything becomes a big decision, but he was there and that was that.” Although they have yet to wed, the couple are stronger than ever. “Now it’s three wonderful years later. Things happen for a reason,” she says.

Currently they are enjoying their time together as a couple and raising their child together as well as Hudson’s older son Ryder.
