Suri Cruise Gets Choppy with Her Bangs

Cute little six-year-old Suri Cruise has just joined the growing ranks of celebrities who are getting choppy bangs.

The style gained prominence after Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, was spotted with the hairstyle. Next followed who is perhaps the most successful socialite ever Kim Kardashian who’s always looking to stay on the leading edge of fashion trends. Now, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes’ little girl is using the same style.

In all likelihood, Katie Holmes made the call regarding the bangs. Some speculate that the change in hairstyle was done to make mother and daughter look all the more alike. The media got their first look at the makeover as Katie and Suri were off to enjoy quality time together at a neighborhood playground. In related news, Katie was recently interviewed by Allure magazine and asked if she is interested in “expanding” her family.

The 34-year-old actress said she is “open to it” but was understandably ambiguous as to when that might occur. For now, Holmes is still making the transition to the life of a divorced mother following her highly publicized break-up with Tom Cruise last year. Cruise remains a box office draw, but it remains to be seen if Katie will be able to do the same.

Financially speaking, she doesn’t need to work as her divorce settlement has provided her with an exceptionally comfortable lifestyle.
