Mecklenburgh Tweets Workout Photos to Promote DVD

Lucy Mecklenburgh, the 22 year old star of TOWIE, has been busy preparing her soon to be released workout DVD, “Results with Lucy”. So she thought it was an appropriate time to give her fans a taste of what they will be seeing when she recently tweeted a photo of herself looking very trim and fit in a revealing workout outfit and hoisting a pair of heavy dumbbells.

She announced in the caption to the workout photo that she had already finished filming 20 workouts.

Mecklenburgh has also revealed to fans on her website blog that although she was always blessed with a “tall and skinny” figure, she was worried as she became older and began noticing that fat deposits were accumulating in all the wrong places on both her thighs as well as her shapely rear end. She took decisive action by hiring a professional trainer to get her body into really toned and trim shape.

“Growing up as a teenager in Brentwood, I was always ‘tall and skinny’ and I kept that body shape through into my twenties,” she wrote.

“But as I got older I started to notice cellulite developing on my bum and upper legs and what I realised was that although I was ‘still slim’ somehow I was carrying excess fat.”

Even though the actress enjoys a petite and toned body, she says she is still the subject of criticism regarding her small size.

Her near-perfect body has had no trouble attracting admirers and Mecklenburgh is reportedly dating Max George, singer from The Wanted.
