Miley Cyrus Pregnant According to The Internet
During the BET Awards in Atlanta over the weekend, there was a rumor that Miley Cyrus and Juicy J were expecting a child. Of course, Miley Cyrus just recently broke off her engagement with Liam Hemsworth, so this would have been somewhat of a surprise.
Supposedly, during the awards ceremony Juicy J told the assembled crowd that Miley had been doing “a lot more than twerking”, to which Cyrus added that she was really pregnant. That said, this news broke on a site known to do large amounts of satirical content, so the entire thing was seen by most as more of that.
The fake rumor seems to have originated with a “satire” site called Cream Bmp Daily, which alleged that Cyrus “blurted out” the news during the show.
According to the outlet, “The crowd at first taking her announcement as a joke cried with laughter but after Miley screaming ‘No, I’m really pregnant‘ she was met by a round of applause from the packed crowd.”
Just earlier today, we found out that yes, there is no pregnancy. Miley herself sent out a tweet expressing her surprise that she was pregnant, which her mother also jumped onto, calling it “her favorite one yet”.
The Wrecking Ball singer playfully addressed the speculation by tweeting on Monday, “Waking up to the news that I’m now pregnant with @therealjuicyj baby.”
She later tweeted:
“Me: “did you know I’m pregnant with @therealjuicyj baby this morning” @CheyneThomas : “what are you gonna name it?” Me: “Juicy J Jr DUH”
The final denial came from a source for E! News which told them that while the rumor was indeed “funny”, that it held no truth. While it might be no surprise that Miley is not actually having a child, imagine the buzz it would create and the fun that we could have if it was happening – oh well.
