Not Everyone Is A Fan Of Kanye West

Ronnie Spector, R&B icon and former Ronette, harshly criticized Kanye West during an interview this week with Noisy when Los Angeles writer Marissa Muller mentioned that West is trying to get new paparazzi laws passed.
Spector praised West for his efforts, but then told Muller that she doesn’t like him. Specifically, she said that she doesn’t like how West “speaks” and then called him a “dick.”
Her confession doesn’t seem to relate to his lyrics. She also confessed to liking the music of rapper Eminem. Spector stated that as a lyricist she likes songs with lyrics she can understand, but with Eminem’s music she likes the beat.
Spector also gave praise to Taylor Swift during the interview for Swift’s success in the music industry as both a lyricist and singer.
Although Swift is not mentioned in relation to West, there are few who have forgotten that he insulted Swift during the 2009 MTV Music Video Awards by interrupting her acceptance speech with a tirade about the fact that Beyonce’s video didn’t win the award for Best Female Video. Although West apologized repeatedly, he criticized Swift on several occasions after and is still negatively remembered because of the incident.
