Teenage P!nk Fan Arrested Following Bomb Threat

Melbourne, Australia – a sixteen year old fan of P!nk has been arrested over a tweet which authorities understood to be a bomb threat.

The young man arrived at the Rod Laver Arena where the 33-year-old singer was kicking off an 18 concert run which is sold out. The young man tweeted P!nk that he had arrived at the concert with his bomb and was ready for her to blow up the arena referring to the venue with an adjective that rhymes with the word “rich”.

Authorities were quick to respond and identified the young man by his Twitter profile and arrested him.

The youth is saying that the entire matter is a misunderstanding and that he was using the “bomb” slang in the same vein as the singer’s song “Timebomb” which was a reference to partying.

For her part, P!nk will be playing a total of 46 concerts in the land down under before a total of 500,000 fans. Her concert tour is in support of her album entitled “The Truth About Love”.

P!nk was the best selling recording artist of the past decade eclipsing Justin Timberlake, Jay-Z, Beyoncé, to name a few.
