Tumblr Post Explaining “Reasons My Son is Crying” Goes Viral

A father’s post of ten pictures of his crying one-year-old son on Tumblr has gone viral.

The father’s explanations for his son’s frustrations capture the beauty of parenthood at this juncture a young child’s life. The first picture shows the teary little lad with a pout on his face and a dire need of a nose wipe with a pond in the background. The dad’s caption explains that preventing him from drowning provoked him to tears. Another photograph shows the child resisting being buckled in his car seat.

The dad’s caption highlights the car seat as being at fault again. The third photograph shows the child in utter sorrow much to the dismay of his father who has no clue why he is reacting that way.

Next, a picture of the child crying out loud was the result of water being poured on his face – by himself.

Next, the child is seen crying as he reaches out for his father’s cell phone; he had been wanting to see pictures of him crying and his father was too slow in displaying them. Greg Pembroke is the father of the child and shared the photographs in a spirit of good humor.
