Reese Witherspoon Opens Up About Arrest

37-year-old Reese Witherspoon certainly opened up the proverbial “can of worms” when she and her husband Jim Toth made the unwise decision to drive after consuming too much wine.

Witherspoon certainly surprised herself by her intoxicated behavior when her husband was pulled over by an Atlanta police officer.

She took to using her star power to exert influence on the officer, but to no avail. When her husband failed the sobriety test and was being put in handcuffs, an inebriated Witherspoon then claimed she was pregnant – again to no avail.

It didn’t help that she took to behaving badly with the officers and laughing giddily also. What patience the arresting officers had didn’t last long because she too was arrested along with her husband. He was taken in for a DUI and she for disorderly conduct.

In an interview with “Good Morning America”, Witherspoon now finds herself having to explain the embarrassing event. Admittedly, she says she doesn’t remember much past panicking about her husband being arrested. In all fairness, many who have experienced inebriation can relate to that.

However, it was facing her children that proved to be the most embarrassing. Witherspoon has three children with the eldest being a young teenager at 13.
