Twilight Dominates Razzie Awards

The 11th Annual Razzie Awards, which celebrate the worst in Hollywood film were dominated this year by the final installment of the vampire romance The Twilight Saga:

Breaking Dawn, Part 2. Not only deemed the worst film made during 2012 the movie picked up an astonishing seven Razzies, including awards for most of the cast for what were deemed the worst performances of 2012. In the worst picture category Twilight beat out films including Battleship and A Thousand Words to take the unwanted prize.

Twilight’s Kristen Stewart also took home the worst actress award for her role in the movie and her performance in Snow White and the Huntsman. Stewart’s co-star Taylor Lautner was awarded two awards for worst supporting actor and worst onscreen couple with MacKenzie Foy; Twilight director Bill Condon was named the worst director for his work on the final installment of the series. Rober Pattinson failed to win the worst actor prize, which instead was awarded to Adam Sandler.
