Amanda Bynes Begins New Chapter with Twitter Self Portrait

Actress Amanda Bynes is determined to begin a new chapter in her life, which has been marred by personal anguish as well as legal troubles over the past few years.

On the first day of March, Bynes began the process of eliminating all of the erratic tweets she had posted in the past on her Twitter account in order to wipe the slate clean, posting a message of gratitude to her fans for sticking by her during some very difficult times. In the past, Bynes had used her Twitter account to post personal attacks on other celebrities, including Miley Cyrus.

But it was a more subdued and sober Bynes who posted a sketched self-portrait of her face on Twitter on March 10, alerting her fans that this was her only official Twitter account and that she was not posting any other comments anonymously using additional accounts under phony names. Her sketch was retweeted almost 2,000 times.

The 27-year old Bynes has enrolled at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising based in Orange County, California. Her attorney reports that she is happy and healthy and making every effort to adjust to a life without addiction or mental conflict.
