Katy Perry’s Dress Turns Heads at Grammy Awards

Broadcast home of the Grammy Awards, CBS, sent out a memo last week made a request to all of those appearing and performing on the show to avoid partly exposed breasts or buttocks, female breast nipples, or soft puffy skin. It seems that the memo had inspired some presenters in their outfit selections.

Kat Dennings, Miranda Lambert, Kelly Rowland and Ashanti and several others either laughed in the face of the memo or somehow failed to receive their copy of the mandate as each of them strolled onto the stage in direct violation. Jennifer Lopez made sure to not directly break the mandate of the memo and instead exposed as much leg as possible with her dress that had a slit that went forever.

Songstress, Katy Perry, may have been the biggest offender and had the most eye popping dress of the night. Here skin tight lime green dress made heads turn with the amount of cleavage that she was displaying. Let’s just say that she more than partly exposed a few of her greatest assets.

When E!‘s Ryan Seacrest interviewed Perry on the red carpet, the songstress revealed the inspiration behind her look, but seemed keener on talking up her hair:

“I was inspired by Priscilla Presley in the ’70s. The big hair, closer to God.”

Later, Co-host Giuliana Rancic teased Seacrest about not looking Perry’s face during the interview.

“When you are my height you have a lot of experience staying focused at that eye line. Lots of practice,” The Idol Host quipped.
