Kim Basinger Signs Modeling Contract At 60

Actress Kim Basinger has proof you can still be sexy at 60. Basinger recently signed with IMG Models and they will be handling all endorsements and commercial deals for the former spouse of Alec Baldwin. IMG is also the agency of record for Basinger’s 17-year old daughter Ireland Baldwin, who signed her own modeling contract last spring. Ireland has been quoted in interviews as saying that her mother still has a terrific body and remains in such great physical shape that she looks like a teenager herself.

“We are proud to be working with a distinguished and talented actress such as Kim Basinger,” said Ivan Bart, senior vp and managing director of IMG Models. “Kim has a powerful appeal on screen that will lend itself as a strong asset for us to seek innovative partnerships across the modeling and entertainment platform for Kim.”

There is no word if IMG is planning to pursue some mother and daughter commercial endorsements for the pair or if each will go their separate way when it comes to modeling assignments. The news of a new modeling contract, however, is good news for Basinger, who has been out of the spotlight for many years but troubled by health issues and custody battles with volatile ex-spouse Baldwin.

The two may be patching up their differences, however, as Baldwin recently acknowledged in an interview that he considered Basinger to be one of the most beautiful women in the world. Basinger’s most recent appearance was at the “Grudge Match” premiere in New York.
