Earlier, there were conflicting reports as to whether the outage had also affected Koodo customers. Through their Twitter account, Telus and Koodo confirmed the outages to the affected customers. Shortly afterwards by 4:30pm ET, the company insisted that the issue had been resolved and that everything was back to normal. In an email statement, a Telus spokeswoman said “We apologies for the inconvenience.”
Telus operates the Koodo subsidiary, as its discount brand. The Vancouver, British Columbia based Telus also runs a satellite television, and entertainment divisions alongside other telecommunication media services.
