Tiger Woods’ Half Brother-Father of Cheyenne Woods arrested

Tiger Woods’ half brother, Earl Dennison Woods Jr., was arrested December 12, 2013. The allegations state that he made a false bomb threat at his place of employment which is a government building in the state of Arizona.

He made the bomb threat via a phone call and the building had to be evacuated Thursday after the phone call. A total of 100 people were taken out of the Pheonix office of The Department of Economic Security, for safety purposes, upon search of the building they found no explosive devices and workers were able to return.

Upon his arrest and confrontation Mr. Woods admitted to making the phone call to his place of employment. Mr. Woods later stated he was just joking when he made the call at approximately 8:30 am. He was taken into custody and charged with making a threat in order to harrass, threaten or terrify through the use of an electronic device. He was later released on Thursday evening from the Maricopa County Jail and is due to appear in court.

Earl Dennison Woods Jr., is the father of the rising female LPGA golf star Cheyenne Woods. Both Cheyenne and Tiger were introduced to golf by Earl Woods Sr.
