Is Mama June Getting Fitted for Dancing Shoes?

Who will be on the next edition of “Dancing with the Stars?” We will all know who will be featured in the 16th season of the popular reality dancing competition when the names are announced live on “Good Morning America” on February the 26th. Until that day, rumors will continue to fly about who will be part of the cast.

Professional pugilist Tito Ortiz and reality queens Kourtney Kardashian and Emily Maynard have been names that have been tossed around as possibilities so far, but one possible surprise cast member is really making a buzz. That would be Mama June Shannon from the TLC reality television show “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo.”

Recent photos of Mama June have confirmed that the beefy reality show star has lost 115 pounds. It would certainly make sense that she was losing wait to prepare for the rigors of the DWTS training schedule.

Mama June, however, has steadfastly insisted that her weight loss was due mostly to her constant busy schedule while promoting the television program. She claims not to have dieted, taken supplements or even work out at a gym.

The only commitment that CBS is making is that the cast will consist of 12 celebrities that will all be first time competitors on the reality show. Certain celebrities have already been documented as not participating including Katie Holmes, Lance Armstrong, and Lindsey Lohan.

The new cast of “Dancing With the Stars” will officially be announced on Tuesday, Feb. 26 on “Good Morning America.”
